Comfort Zone

Hello les gars ! Désolée d’avoir été un peu absente du blog la semaine passée, mais pour tout vous dire, j’étais méga occupée. Non, je n’ai pas passé la semaine uniquement à larver devant Gilmore Girls (dur d’arriver à regarder 7 saisons en 2 mois avant le revival), j’ai aussi larvé devant Black Mirror, Westworld, The Missing, et été voir Fantastic Beasts. Trêve de plaisanteries, vous l’avez peut-être vu sur mes réseaux sociaux, mais je suis partie à Paris, j’ai participé à la soirée des Zalando Style Icons, et j’ai été jeter un œil au salon Modalist. Impossible de vous préparer un article avec mes weekend remplis et alors que je bosse la semaine.

Enfin je bosse… Je bossAIS plutôt, puisque je suis sans emploi à partir du 1er décembre (demain quoi). Je vous parlais de grands changements dans mon dernier article, eh bien c’est fait ! J’ai enfin pris mon courage à deux mains et décidé de quitter mon boulot qui ne me correspondait pas du tout. Je pense prendre un peu de temps pour me concentrer sur ce que je veux vraiment et trouver quelque chose qui me donnera envie de me lever le matin (et aimer les lundis ? on peut toujours rêver).

Bon, on va quand même parler fringues un petit peu, non ? J’ai eu un énorme coup de cœur pour ce gilet. Le gilet, c’est vraiment la pièce maudite dans mon dressing. Aussitôt acheté, aussitôt détesté. J’exagère un peu, mais je finis toujours par le trouver trop long, trop court, mal coupé ou pas assez confortable #jamaiscontente. Autant dire qu’avec celui-ci, j’ai trouvé mon bonheur. Plus je le porte, moins j’arrive à m’en passer. J’arrête là, parce qu’on dirait une déclaration d’amour, et c’est quand même qu’un gilet après tout (MAIS IL EST TELLEMENT DOUX ET PARFAIT).

Pour éviter le look mamy-va-faire-ses-courses ou encore le look c’était-ça-ou-je-mettais-un-plaid, on associe le gilet à tout son contraire. Pour le reste, j’ai choisi du noir uniquement en jouant sur les matières avec du simili et de la dentelle. C’est le genre de tenue que je pourrais aussi bien mettre avec un perfecto ou une veste en fausse fourrure pour sortir, que pour la vie de tous les jours avec ce type de grosse maille qui adoucit le côté sexy des autres pièces.

Je vous laisse pour aller vaquer à mes occupations de sans emploi. Au cas où, je suis trilingue, j’ai un Master et un peu d’expérience maintenant. Si vous voyez quelque chose, pensez à moi (la meuf qui se croit sur StepStone).

Sorry for having been a stranger last week on the blog, but quite frankly, I was super busy. No, I haven’t spent the week lazing around and watching Gilmore Girls (it’s hard to watch seven seasons in 2 months before the series’ revival), I also spent my time lazing around and watching Black Mirror, Westworld, The Missing, and going to the movies to see Fantastic Beasts. Joking aside, you may have seen it on my social media, but I went to Paris, enjoyed the Zalando Style Icons evening, and went to the Modalist salon to have a look. It’s impossible to prepare articles when your weekends are full and when you’re working during the week.

I’m working… more like I worked, since I’ll be unemployed as of December 1st (yup, tomorrow). I was talking about big changes in my previous post, well it’s done! I finally gathered my courage and decided to quit my job that did not suit me at all. I think I’ll take some time to focus on what I really want and to find something that will make me want to wake up in the morning (and maybe like Mondays? one can dream).

Anyway, we’re here to talk about clothes, aren’t we? I had a huge crush on this cardigan. Cardigans are kind of cursed in my wardrobe. I buy them, and then hate them immediately. I’m exaggerating a bit, but I always end up finding them too long, too short, too loose, too tight, or not comfy enough #neverhappy. Let’s say that with this one, I found exactly what I wanted. The more I wear it, the less I can do without it. I’ll stop right here because this is starting to sound like a declaration of love, and it’s just a cardigan after all (BUT IT’S SO SOFT AND PERFECT).

To avoid the grandma-going-to-the-grocery-store look, or the it-was-this-or-a-plaid one, combine the cardigan with opposites. For the rest, I went for black only and played with textures like faux leather and lace. It’s the kind of outfit I could wear with a biker jacket or a faux fur coat for a night out, but also in my everyday life wearing a big knitwear piece that will tone down the sexiness of the other items.

I’m gonna go and keep myself busy with all the unemployed occupations I get to do now. BTW, I’m trilingual, I have a Master’s degree and a bit of experience now. If you see something, think of me (looks like I mistook my blog for a job seeker website).
